Techniques

All of the Sculptures that are featured on this website are original hand made pieces using Eberhard faber fimo clay or super sculpey.
Moulds are not involved in the creation process (See tutorials below to learn more) so no two sculptures will turn out exactly alike with each one having their own unique features and pose.
After curing, the sculptures are washed and painted using acrylic paints or pastels to create a matching colour base for the fibre. Wool, synthetic roving, naturally molted feathers or plant fibres are used to create the look of real fur.
Finishing a sculpture from start to finish can take days to a few weeks depending on the size and difficulty.
